Yippee!!
I've found binaries for LibreOffice, GThumb, and GIMP, so with TDE all my requirements are met!
So far -- and of course I don't have the device nor have I ever seen one in person nor has anyone I know ever seen one in person -- it's all proceeding perfectly. I expect this to change . . .
