Hi HHa,
what do you mean with "not active". When I press alt+F2 the "execute command" window appears and is active (has the focus). It immediately allows me to type a command name, although the mouse cursor is not over this window.

I have experienced an issue from time to time where the run dialog is not focused when it appears. Usually this happens when another application immediately takes the focus back from the run dialog. If I have time I might look into the problem, as it can be quite irritating.
By the way, which Trinity versions are both of you running?
Thanks!
Tim
I don't have this issue, run dialog keeps focus regardless of mouse position.Trinity 3.5.12/Debian stable, I use 'Focus Follows Mouse' with Auto Raise' and a 'Delay Focus' set.
I did notice a difference between the Focus Policies: Focus Follows Mouse, Focus Under Mouse, and Focus Strictly Under Mouse. I don't understand the theory behind these three policies, they seem the same in my mind but they do behave differently.
