Unfortunately I was assuming it should be Dativ, but now I double checked and it looks like it is Accusativ, so it seems it is correctly translated.

in English the dative is practically dead. the genitive survives healthily.

The difference is direction and location - but translate is not explicit movement.
It looks like I was wrong.
