Hi All,
Fedora 17 + TDE user.
I created the file /etc/sysconfig/desktop, with the
line:
DISPLAYMANAGER=/opt/trinity/bin/kdm
The login window was represented 800x600 pixels (or less) and once
completed, it is Gnome that was executed with the correct screen
resolution
(1280x1024). Whereas without this line, I have the choice between Gnome
and
Tde. Once in Tde, TDE seems to function almost normally.

Sounds like a problem with the TDE display manager start script, though
the RedHat/Fedora maintainer(s) would know better than I would. ;-)
