Yep, that's definitely easier. :)
If I get reports that this truly fixes the problem, and does not introduce any other problems, then I will update the 3.5.13 PPA for Debian and Ubuntu with the new library.
Doesn't fix it. Problem still there. Kicker still crashes on Settings and System menus.
