I understand that it may not be what you want (you have the right to prefer
clicking icons on kicker :) - but one of the reasons I prefer Trinity is that
it keeps the good old OS/2 behaviour that you can access usefull commands
with a right-click.
Right-click on the Desktop and you get your lock icon.
That's the way I would do it, but as I said, it's your choice.
