Mint doesn't come with Trinity at all, but the 13.04 repos work fine
if you stick
with Mint 15 (which is based on 13.04). Use the Mate desktop version and leave
most of it installed.
List of versions: I'll get back to you later with the exact versions I
found with synaptic
in Mint 15. (I'm running Debian at the moment). Also, I'll post my sources.list.
Mint has the best media support I've yet seen. Annoying bugs are [1] it doesn't
complete shutdown or reboot automatically like any other modern distro (you have
to halt it with the shutdown button) and [2] some gtk widgets are
mis-rendered in
the Trinity DE (such as synaptic, but the programs all seem to work).
In general, the apps we know and love get broken in some versions and
fixed again
in others. Same with distros. That's why I try out and multi-boot lots
of them. I still
occasionally run Vector 6 "Kde Classic" with 3.5.10, but it's become
useless for
media now (even though it was great 18 months ago).

I'm not overly concerned with the distro, I am more
concerned with the versions of the apps. The older

Mint 15 is Ubuntu 13.04/Raring based and can use all the Raring repos
including the ones for Trinity. Trinity installed and runs fine on Mint 15.
I just checked in synaptic that all the packages on your list are
available,
including wine 1.4.1. I got best results from starting with the Mate DE
version of Mint 15 and leaving most of Mate/Gnome installed. The result
is fully up to date on media and sound support with Firefox 20.0.
Another good option might be Ubuntu Studio 12.04 with Trinity
installed. I haven't tried this yet, but it'll be the next thing I do.
Trinity works fine on standard 12.04 but I'm missing something needed to
make the sound work. 12.04 uses wine 1.4, and so far that's been as good as
wine 1.4.1.
