If you change attribute like this: chattr +i /etc/resolv.conf your file is unchangeable.
chattr -i /etc/resolv.conf solve your problem.
Finally I run sudo dpkg -reconfigure resolvconf
Which most likely did the same. Still the tdenetworkmananger does not display when it is conncected
