It could be, however, that I have somehow offended themselves through my
own ignorance, or because they are known to be whimsical, and even
playfully cruel. Or perhaps I did not notice the beckoning glance of some
princess of the Sidhe, and the lady (forgetting that I could not actually
see her) was offended.
This, too, could explain what happened.
