One more kmail config question

Greetings; How can I disable kmails penchant for interpreting a typu as a "turn on the )*&$@Y^ html"? I presume its a hotkey I am accidentally hitting on this short spaced K-360 keyboard. I want it on ONLY if I use the mouse pulldown and checkbox in the kmail editor, and ONLY that. Its a PIMA, I note that its been turned on somehow, and I have to use the puldown and uncheck the ^$&# box to put me back in plain text about every 3rd msg I send.
