On my System in TCC -> TDE Components -> File Associations the patterns '*.tlz' and '*.tar.lz' are associated with Ark and described as "lzip compressed". Odd though: I haven't 'lzip' installed. I created an archive with 'tar --lzma -cf archive.tar.lz'. And Ark failed to open it. Probably because it expected it to be lzip-compressed where it was lzma-compressed (xz).
