Well hang in there til the then. I'm sure it will all work out.
Me mate and her husband both has lens installed (they are now Borg) and, after
a few weeks, have said it's all much better.

Settings > Configure kmail > Appearance
Seems to work here, for everything BUT the message window itself.
Bummer.
