When I do that, Firefox opens at google. I guess the next question is how I get KDEPIM 3.5.10 to do that when I click on a link.
KControl->KDE Components->Default Applications->Web Brower->In the following browser->firefox

Please. That's the first thing I tried. My default web browser IS set to Firefox. Does not help.
I suspect it's because I'm using KDE4 as my desktop, but using a KDE3 program, KDEPIM 3.5.10 as my mail/news program.
