nano is not an graphic editor as kedit or kwrite,
so, not practical.

Good idea :
Yes, I can open the files.jsp, from kedit with sftp:// on the remote server,
modify them directly on the remote server without upload.
But, not from Konqueror, kedit open the files in a local folder.
So, why two different treatments .JSP and .PHP with Konqueror ?

I cannot duplicate your problem. So konqueror does a local copy of the file and then
starts kedit with this local copy ... quite strange.
Could you create a new user and check if it happens with that account, too? If konqueror
behaves as expected, then the problem is in your userconfig.
