Hm, but I reboot my machine and just login with trinity I thought the
KDE4 network manager should not matter, it should not run, or are you
saying it is anyhow.
Hm, I had this szenario for the ever since trinity came out.
You said/wrote, you had KDE4 NM configure your wifi.
I just downloaded and installed trinity live, so far it behaves as
expected, no conflict, I keep my finger crossed.
The live version does not have KDE4, so as Michele pointed out, perhaps you
should consider removing the KDE4 part
