Can't it be mounted as a Mass Storage

I plug my Android phone (and/or Android tablet) into a USB port
and Trinity asks to open it in konqueror. Then Bob's your uncle.
When I try that my laptop just charges my phone.
Non-systemd Debian buster.
Anyone got the clue I'm missing?

Hi,
That is probably about your phone settings. I had the same issue at first.
I had to change the USB settings on my Android phone from "Charge Only"
to "PTP connexion" (Translated from French so terms may differ) to be
able to transfer photos to the PC.
Then Konqueror can see the device (the phone) and its contents.
Note: my android phone is old...

Probably, PTP = Peer To Peer.
