A problem that keeps repeating like that, however minor it may appear, could
signify something bigger; although who ought to care -- myself, or all of us
on the list, or some other group that includes us (?) -- remains to be seen.

FWIW I'm seeing Edward's emails in
R14.0.10 kmail-trinity with what
appear to be the correct timestamps given their position in various
threads.
His TBird email Date header is in TZ GMT-4 but he also uses another
client - - perhaps a GMX webmail - which uses GMT TZ. However this still
seems to generate the correct display here in the few samples I checked.

I used the Vivaldi Mail client for one of my emails on July 24 and
noticed the TZ in that header was +0000.
