It looks like Slavek's backport are backports to 3.5.13 from the
results of current development (3.5.14) work. So, they would be of no
use _until_ I get to 3.5.13.
However, Tim has passed along the (semi-hidden) 3.5.12 ppa(s) location.
I'll approach it that-a-way: 3.5.11 -> 3.5.12 -> 3.5.13
Then I'll look at Slavek's packages and see if any would interest me.
