KDE4 is not a 'more current' version of KDE3 (in the same sense as KDE3 is more
modern version of KDE2 and KDE2 is more modern version of KDE1). I'd say it is not KDE
at all.

actually know what features are missing and have not migrated because
of that.
I am one of those people. But describing what features missing in Gnome compared to KDE3
would be much quicker. I dont think you wish to see here hundreeds of pages describing
differences between KDE4 and KDE3 which make it unusable.
