Ok, please do keep an eye on it and let us know if that is the case. So far all evidence seems to point towards RPM distros only. See also https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tde/issues/128 where other users reported similar issues and Francois has been able to reproduce it too.
Good reply! That bug report reminded me another for sure was on Fedora 38, on the near twin PC to my OTP PC....
