Dear all, some of you had reported problems with starting TDE when kgtk-qt3-trinity package was installed. This was also reported in bugszilla (bug 2477). This issue has been fixed and if you are using Slavek's preliminary stable builds you should get the updated packages soon. If not, you will need to wait for R14.0.5 release.
