I use the there is no spoon method and cut out the digicam middle man.
I just use kdeconnect. I put the icon thing in the autostart thing and then
the icon whatsits just show up in Trinity. You can access files pretty easy
with kdeconnect.
But that's not the only way I cheat. I also have Andsmb installed on my
android phone. And then make a samba share on my desktop and just upload
files to the share that is my desktop. But I only do that if I am lazy.
If you don't want to cheat there is something called MTP you can use to
mount the phone drive.

Well, Google informs me:

I dunno if that last sentence refers to the Samsung screen, or a screen
on some Windows' grotesquerie.

Well, that looks "OK",
but I dunno if there is something absent -- if anything -- from that
