Tim's repository is almost normally not available
for us (in England? On the
South Coast? Everyone I know who tries to use TDE!), and it is hard to find
anything else to use. When I asked recently I was told just to use Tim's and
it would chose the best mirror. That is no use if Tim's is unavailable.
Tim's is inaccessible nearly as often as not here in SE USA, including recent
hours.
