Thank you very much for that hint. Downgrading xine-lib worked. Haven't tested the dvb-t functions yet, but video seems to work just fine.;)
Ah-*ha*. I was compiling against 1.1.19, I think--whatever was stable for x86 in the main tree when I last bothered sync'ing the VM in November, anyway. [R]DEPEND will need to reflect the version restriction.
