Hello,
I have a strange problem. I'm running Ubuntu Lenny 10.04. I've made
an apt-get update today. A lot of trinity KDE packages were
updated. Now I can not launch kicker, kmail and possibly others.
The error message is:
kicker: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib/libkdeinit_kicker.so:
undefined symbol: _ZN9KListView9selectAllEb
or
kmail: symbol lookup error: /opt/trinity/lib/libkleopatra.so.1:
undefined symbol: _ZN9KListView9selectAllEb
Seems like your tdelibs was not updated, try to update it manually.
Thanks a lot for the hint. I launched manually
$ apt-get install kdelibs-trinity
it installed additionally kdelibs4c2a-trinity. Than I restarted X. Now
all is back to normal.
Is it something, Slavek should know about?
Gerhard
It occurs to me the only one reason - at the beginning of this week was
rebuild kdelibs - maybe (at the time of first update) you did not have
fully consistent update apt information.
