a question -- used to be that 3.5 would accept "forever" when it was
accepted for a hinky certificate. then it didn't (and doesn't.) there's a
patch that kludges past whatever got broken last version, apparently not
ideally but better than nothing.
wondering if that patch is incorporated in the soon-to-be-released version,
or if there is some other bugfix of it, or if the new upgrade will
represent no change in that department.
because as it stands, such things as automatic mail checks are not possible
if kde doesn't like the certificate.
