You will not be surprised to know, Dan, that the addition to the menu went
swimmingly - I was pleasantly surprised that I actually managed to do it
right. Thank you so much for that. I really must explore the menu some
time.
Now to file a) a bug - gksu and b) a wish-bug - tdesu.

'apt-get autoremove' will make quick work of that.
