kdesktop failing on resolution change

Every time I run an app that changes the resolution (mostly games but other apps too) all the icons on my desktop disappear and I have two scripts I run to fix it. #!/bin/bash killall -9 kdesktop #!/bin/bash kdesktop Not sure why this is happening it does seem to be related to TDE.
