Kpdf, Kate) from the R14.1.x repo, without upgrading everything?

That does not seem to be a good idea. Between R14.0.x and R14.1.x there
may be changes in API as well as ABI. This could be a cause for trouble.
If you want a stable system and also new fixes, the r14.0.x repository is
the right way.

As far as I see, there are three repos in suse
building system: -
stable (R14.0.5) - unstable (R14.1.0 development) - r14.0.x (which
is R14.0.6 development).
The pdf fix will be in r14.0.x but not in stable.

Okay. As far as I can see, the Trinity website only shows the
first of these repos; I was not aware of the other two. It's not
clear to me if r14.0.x is as stable as "stable"? :-)
