Ubuntu 16.04 on LTSP.
It's an unusual configuration, I think it's very difficult to
investigate and I'd rather go back to the previous version. How can I do
that?
I enclose what I was able to get on a crash.
That trace has mentions of swrast_dri.so all over it. Apparently, that's the
OpenGL software renderer. If you have a standard Intel, AMD, or nVidia
video card chipset, that isn't the renderer you should be using. In addition,
it looks like the error might be coming from the screensaver.
Try reinstalling OpenGL and/or your video card drivers (if you're using an
external driver such as the proprietary nVidia one). Alternatively, turning
off the compositor and the screensaver within TDE (Control Center ->
Desktop -> Window Behaviour -> Translucency and Control Center ->
Appearance & Themes -> Screen Saver) might help somewhat if that is
indeed the problem.
Or I might be barking up the wrong tree altogether . . .
