I tried several times to get removed from this mailing-list, but it didn't work. (I sent an empty mail to kubuntu-kde3.5-users-unsubscribe@pearsoncomputing.net and another one to the following "confirm unsubscribe"-mail)
Could someone (Tim) please do it manually?
Cheers, Andreas

Wait, if you downloaded the Intrepid disc, then the Jaunty disc, and then the Karmic disc, and did all the respective upgrades only using the KDE3.5 remix disc for the repository, wouldn't that work? I'm sure there's just something I don't know about here, though, but it *sounds* like it would work.

Awesome. Can I use those to upgrade an exisitng 8.04?
Not really, but you can follow the instructions here to upgrade from your 8.04 installation: https://wiki.kubuntu.org/Kubuntu/Kde3/Karmic#Upgrade%20from%208.04%20%5BHard... %20Heron]
I know, but the idea of not introducing any kde4 packages into the system intrigued me.
