[tde-users] Thumbsup for TDE on devuan daedalus ... and new GTK3 nightmares

Hi all!

I just did an upgrade from devuan chimaera to daedalus. Almost everything worked as I expeced, especially TDE runs flawless - big thumbsup!

GTK3 is a PITA - just as expected: - GTK_CSD=0 not always works, some applications need extra caretaking (zim, ...). - Subpixel hinting for font rendering is fixed to full hinting, which traditionally gives horrible results. Both .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini and .gtkrc-2.0 have gtk-xft-hintstyle="hintslight", but no use.

So, apart from GTK this upgrade works like a charm :)

Does anybody know how to fix subpixelhinting for GTK3?
