it doesn't work for me (LMDE + Trinity 3.5.12). I have to use the search-icon.
Thanks to everyone for trying it out. Seems that it can work, so not a problem with the Trinity packages - must be something else in my setup or config. I'll report back again after looking into the suggestions.
