I feel bad at the sight of this announcement.
From what I've seen of
functional with KDE4, it's not a simple story of eye's candies, fonts
sizes
and window decorations. KMail, Kate and other applications do not work the
same way. And during my tests, I have not seen gateway to move from one
version of sofware / desktop to another.
I felt very bad when I read the dictates of a so-called "windows
manager expert" on the trinity-devel-help list. I see sadly that his tone
had effects.
I already felt abandoned by KDE / OSS, and that's why I like the
Trinity project so much, I am just afraid of being abandoned again... and
hope that I'm wrong.
My words may shock, but I write them because I know today, that I
was
not alone in having felt what I felt for KDE4.

Hi Patrick,
What is your concern? This theme engine is designed to allow Qt4
applications to integrate into TDE in a better way than before, and
personally I wouldn't hesitate to file interface-related bug reports on
any Qt4-based project that does not integrate well into TDE when this
engine is in use.
If you can give a specific range of concerns (i.e "TDE is going the wrong
direction due to projects X and Y") then I will try to address those
concerns in a reply. :-)
