According to
https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/pd006109#vid you also
have Intel gfx, which lspci -nnk | grep -A4 VGA missed showing.
That means you need a special (optimus or bumblebee) driver instead of the
generic nouveau, nouveau or intel FOSS Xorg drivers that your Xorg logs show in
use.
Mine with only GeForce on host big31 running Jessie with 4.9 kernel:

Main difference between our gfxchips is that yours is mobile and connects to bus
differently, but I'd expect same behavior.

I get the same result with xserver-xorg-video-modesetting installed and with or
without xserver-xorg-video-nouveau installed.
I don't think I can suggest anything more that might be helpful, since I have no
hardware requiring either of those special drivers.
