Appreciate the suggestion about an alternate distro suitable for very old hardware. Q4OS
was a very easy install for a Linux novice and included Trinity DE by default, so I'm
going to experiment with Trinity for now in Q4OS to tweak the desktop to my liking and see
how that goes.
