Thanks, Alexander. KWrite is simpler than Kate. As you know, I like
simple. But I'll look for Kedit. If it is there, that should be fine.
In the event, I used Nano. I can live with Nano. I just happen to like
KWrite!

There is no 'kwrite' here in 3.5.13, kedit and kate, I vaugley remember
kwrite being =deprecated .

Using pclinuxos , I have both Kwrite and ' trinity-kwrite ' in the repos.
Kwrite (pclos ) is not installed
' trinity-kwrite ' is installed and functional
