Has anybody given any thoughts to creating a new Trinity Live CD for Ubuntu?
no, but it would be extremely nice, if trinity would be installable on Ubuntu 12.04! Just tried it but with no luck.
Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin should be released today. It is a LTS (long term support) version and will receive updates for the next five years (both server and desktop). Previous Ubuntu LTS releases were supported for 3 years on the desktop and 5 years on the server. Normal Ubuntu releases are supported for 18 months.
I did consider making one for Ubuntu 11.10 but I don't know how!
What software should be included?
If nobody else rises to the challenge I will investigate making a Live CD using Ubuntu 12.04 and TDE 3.5.13 and call it a beta version. When 3.5.14 is released the Live CD can be updated and an official version announced.
What do we call it - Tubuntu, Tribuntu, Tbuntu or simply Ubuntu Trinity?
