I have installed opensuse tumbleweed upgraded few days ago. Since few days (after last update) i found some extraneous folders in my home. They have 2 characters and sometimes AU/ bJ/ *A/
Reported here: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1126468
Check the opensuse and opensuse-support mailing list archives. This was reported by Plasma users. IIRC the fix has been found, but I don't remember if it had made the mirrors yet or not. It might be gone already if you update again.
After a little of google and not found i decide to subscribe to the opensuse mailing list and ask.
Good you did. Because you didn't find, I looked again and found https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/534986-Random-folders-in-Home-(N ew-install) that indicates sddm is what was fixed. I use TDM everywhere I use TDE.
Yes i read that post, so i am reupdating the system. Still is downloading so i cannot tell if is fixed or not fixed. In a 1 or 2 hours i can tell you.
