So "any distro" apparently doesn't include Gentoo, but we're an odd
distro
out in so many ways that it's hard to tell why without more information.

TDE under any distro.
It's the constant reloading of the gui when I install software. I
don't understand why it does that. Bug?
TDE stopped doing that when I went with Q4OS. That refreshing was
quite annoying !
