Two Errors on the "Kubuntu Precise" LiveCD

I'm thinking of installing "TDE-Kubuntu" (http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/cdimages/kubuntu/precise/) but there are two errors on the LiveCD:

Error 1: 1. [right click on desktop] >> Configure Desktop >> Behavior >> [uncheck "Show Tooltips"] [now click "Apply"] the window will crash and any changes are not recorded.

Error 2: 2. [click on "My Computer"] >> [click on any partition] and the error popup reads:

"Permissions denied<p>please insure that<br>..." etc.

As you can see, the HTML code is visible in the popup message.

Will both of these errors be fixed?
