Kickoff comes with all kicker installs you just need to enable it.
Sorry I didn't chime in sooner. I am all for keeping it, but that
means that it needs to work well. Not freeze, not crash, and be very
stable. If that is not the case, someone needs to work on it. if
nobody wants to work on it I don't think it is appropriate to ship
something that is unstable.

Yes Lisi, it is already there, as it was also part of the few last releases
of KDE 3. You just have to right-click on the Start Menu on click on
''Switch to KickOff menu style'' to try it. It's not a new feature.
So what are you making a fuss about? Incidentally, it is not on my system.
Perhaps you have a residue of KDE4 stuff.
