Yes. Most. Though probably not the newest. And you may indeed have to edit
your repositories as Gerhard suggests and install linux-firmware-nonfree.
But I didn't have to do so. To my surprise.
I always edit my repositories automatically anyway to include contrib and
non-free.

Here in Mint I e.g. have the package
linux-firmware-nonfree
and other nonfree packages. There is a good chance they include drives for
your hardware.
They for sure are free as in beer but nonfree according speech (you don't
have to pay) and to use them you have to include the correct repositories,
e.g.:
deb
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian testing main contrib non-free
in case of Debian.
