One of those thing that make you go "huh?". Like trying to put the deck

Hi Glen,
sorry, of course you need to look for these files in your old
.kde3 directory as deloptes pointed out as well. That's:
.kde3/share/config/kmailrc
becomes:
.trinity/share/config/kmailrc
