Please remove the angle brackets from around noble in both occurrences in your file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d
Dooh!!! I should have seen that! I was just too tired from spending countless hours trying to beat netplan and YAML (Yet Another Miserable Lingo) mashup into submission.
