Hello all,
This is NOT a complain, just a question. While I'm working with a
perfectly
working Wheezy + TDE, I've had the curiosity to install "Siduction", a
rolling distribution based on SID.
I've tried to install Trinity Desktop from the nightly builds (using
jessie as
target distribution). desktop-base-trinity installed correctly, but
kde-trinity depends tde-trinity taht won't be installed.
My question: does this mean that Trinity and SID are incompatible (which I
would understand, given that it's impossible - and makes little sense -to
provide compatible packages) or is it one of these situations where
packages
are just being (re)created for Jessie and I should try it later. ANd if so
how can I know when such a situation occurs?
Siduction is not interesting if I can't get a sensible desktop...
Regards,
Thierry
Packages are being rebuilt. Debian stopped providing certain package
archive index files in January; this was not caught until recently when
all Jessie builds started failing. Now that the Jessie archive is up to
date, the build farm is rebuilding all TDE Jessie packages.
