Not sure, but I think to remember that this gtk3-tqt-engine-trinity package is not recommended - do you have it actually installed? dpkg -l |grep gtk | grep trinity

if yes remove and try again

Is there any sort of configuration file that will need to be removed, besides .themes/tdegtk/gtk-3.0/tdegtk.css?
