Just installed TDE a day or two ago and just now got the chance to install updates when I run them it says it aborted it because it thought some of the packages would break the system and when I hit ok I get a screen saying there is no updates with a green stop light? So did it install them or did it abort it?
Which version of which distro are you using? And which package manager?

Hi lisi,
it was lubuntu and then I installed TDE on top of that and used synaptic to remove LU
I think ADEPT. is what came up
correction I looked it was Adept.

but for some reason when I removed LU the splash screen is messed up now it just says UBUNTU 13.04 in small letters on a maroon background.
