And it could be that you are talking about some other problem entirely beyond that, as this doesn't seem so big a problem. And then ... Okay, so I just tried it myself. I don't use ksysguard so much nowadays, although I used to keep it running all the time. And everything seemed to work just fine ... until, as you say, I added it to my lower panel, then opened and tried to configure; all I get is a blank page, no way to change, no way to add a running intance, etc. Now my ksysguard also is not working, even though I have added it to the panel, then removed it. Now when I open it from the start menu, or by using alt-F2, ksysguard opens, but with a blank page, instead of showing running processes. Bill
