restarted Mint, it came up to a trinity desktop
window that said to use
CTRL-ALT-DEL to login. but CTRL-ALT-DEL did nothing.
I don't know why it's not working, but you can turn off the secure attention
key by editing (as root) /etc/trinity/kdm/kdmrc and changing UseSAK to false.
